Wedding Recessional Music
So the band's almost finished playing, all the champagne
bottles are nearly empty and the bride's maids are pretty
buzzed. Time for the newly wed couple to make their
exit. Wedding recessional songs are often the last official
piece of music at the wedding party, and are kind of
like the last song that plays over the rolling credits
at the end of a movie.
They're a great way to wrap things
up and should leave an emotional high note of an ending.
Like in most circumstances, the Beatles are big presences
here. Both “In My Life” and “All You
Need Is Love” both made the list of the top 15
recessional songs. Barry White adds in some funky soul
with “Can't Get Enough of Your Love Babe.”
Katrina and the Waves effervescent “Walking On
Sunshine” can't be denied as a great ending.
“Beautiful
Day” by U2 lend a kind of edge to the exit and
Louis Armstrong's “What a Wonderful World”
is simply a classic. Whatever way you end the party,
choosing the right song for this list should leave an
impression on your friends and love ones. Check out
the pages of this website for help in selecting all
of your wedding-event music.
