Wedding Songs To Make Your Day Special

Your wedding day is special and you want to have some of the best memories possible. This includes you reception after the ceremony. One of the things that you will have to consider for your reception is your music. Wedding songs will make your day special by providing you and your guests something fun to dance to and songs that everyone will enjoy. After all, you have the beautiful bride and groom, sparkling diamonds and jewelry, and family and friends around you. A celebration is not a celebration without music.

You should plan your song list first and it’s a good idea to add some unusual songs in there just to make things unique. For example, instead of playing ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ by the Beatles, play the slow but somewhat rougher version by Ozzy Osborne. It will make your guests stop for a minute, but it’s an interesting way to shake up your reception and make it memorable. Instead of doing the ‘Bunny Hop’ or the ‘Chicken Dance’, do the ‘Macarena’ or bring back the ‘Boot Scoot Boogie’.

Don’t be afraid to add old classics to your song list to appeal to the older guests at your wedding. Look into what some of your family’s wedding songs are and have them played at your wedding to get them up and dancing. Share your special day with the people you love the most.

When you start looking for a band or DJ for your wedding, talk to them about some of the things they do at weddings to get some more ideas and unique outlooks on what you can do to make your wedding even more memorable.
Oh, and don’t forget to play ‘Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend’. Remember, the diamond engagement ring on your finger came from your life long best friend.
